Local branches of NZERN promote ecological restoration efforts, swap hard won experience, provide training and ensure views of members are democratic represented within NZERN.
Activities
Most branches organise field days and provide displays and speakers
for many events. > more information
Committee
Members elect a Branch Secretary and committee as required. Elections
normally happen at an event like a regional restoration day. Community
Relations staff who work for DoC or Councils are ineligible to
be elected.
Funds
The National Office can supply a letter to the branch so a Westpac account can be opened. Branch funds come from National Office
and local fundraising efforts for local projects.
National
Councilor
The branch elects a National Councilor who represents the branch
at National Council meetings and National AGM.

Any group of members in a geographic area can establish
